  Kidney stones can be dealt with by taking generous amounts of magnesium -- 
which softens the stones and allows them to pass easily and comfortably.  This 
according to my chiropractor, when my 87-year-old Mom was dealing with them.  
The urologist wanted her to have the ultra-sound process that blasts the stones 
into smaller pieces.  It was not necessary -- she took the magnesium.  MA
