You don't *have* to get the B12 past the digestive system if you use the spray methylcobalamin form which is the most bioavailable type to use. It enters the blood stream through the mouth, so bypassing the stomach altogether. I have been using this for months and my husband, who was having to have B12 injections, because he cannot make intrinsic factor. His blood results were fine on this. dee
