We used to put out jar lids full of beer for the slugs, not sure if it
works on snails but worth a try. An adult gopher-snake will take
care of the mole and any others that may take up residence. They also
eat gophers, voles, shrews, etc.

Can anyone tell me if they have any non-toxic ways of getting rid of both of these garden pests! My girl friend has cats they like to lay any where, and every where. And I don't like the idea of poison in my food from residues that might up-take into, or get on our veggies. Thanks for any idea's that might help with these two problems we are dealing with!
