 Hi Lew,
 I think your question is how was the scoring on the test set up. It
looks as if four time periods were selected, 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s
and then items common to each period were selected for inclusion on the
test list, six or seven from each time period. 
  This age test came to me from another person, and after cleaning it up
,it was posted for our lister`s.
