They even stated the information used to create that list was not from
their own research but borrowed from another agency.

My real issue with it is having used the same brush to paint the
picture for all silver products.  Asprin when misused can be dangerous
and even deadly.  It really is not appropriate to paint all with the
same brush - ie over generalize.

I do not plan to cancel my subscription to consumer reports.  I have
had one for over 20 years.  I do think I might actually write them
about this.  Which would be a first in all the time I've had a
subscribtion.
