I have several vessels used for brewing and storage and I never have a need to decant or wash or rinse them out with anything. When one is emptied I simply wipe it out with a paper towel and put it straight back in the cupboard until it's needed again for another batch. I personally don't believe HP is necessary for any reason, either prior, after, or anywhere in between if everything is working as it should. But I repeat, that's my belief, based on several years experience and observation in making this stuff. If everything is working as it should, and one is not attempting to brew a high strength solution, there should be no need to decant or rinse them out with anything. My Advice: Remove those trodes from the water at regular timed intervals and wipe them with a paper towel {if you think it necessary or not} before resubmerging them, and don't use HP to rinse those vessels out. I just don't have time looking back the files. I am busy to find good remedies for my newly diagnosed chronic lyme. I would like to add CS to my portocol. I use Utopia sillver bullet. Last week I was happy my batch was crystal clear. I did intensive cleaning my jar with H202 and distiller water. Today it was very disappointed. lots particles/ashes around the silver wires. the water is gray and opaque. I dare not to drink. What could be the problem? Please advice. Helen
