They will be able to see a mass (tumor) or growth of some sort if present. The only way to definitively know if it's cancer is to do a biopsy. Personally, if I had a known growth I would assume it was cancer and not do a biopsy as this procedure can spread cancer cells thru the blood. Can someone be kind enough to tell me if a doctor can tell if someone has cancer while doing a scope in a bladder? Doesn't there have to be a biopsy done? Thanks in advance everyone, Deb
