Lena, Vitamin C is needed for the formation of collagens which are constituents of the artery wall BUT I would not take 15 g a day neither 15 g of salt. L. Pauling calculated that humans need about 4 g of C per day to equate those amounts produced by other mammals. I've just read that Vitamin C strengthens the arterial walls. Being a Lymie, I take 15g of C (with 15 g of sea-slat as well) per day. Unfortunately I don’t remember what they said to use to strengthen the arterial walls. I am thinking of giving my hubby lipo C but someone told me the lecithin makes cunks of plaque break away from walls of the arteries and cause strokes. Now, i am afraid to give it to him. Thanks.
