It doesn't matter if *they* have or not. Always speak and post as if your worst enemy's lawyer is listening. The only exception is private e-mail to *trusted* associates, preferably encrypted! <grin> There is *nothing* you do on line that isn't visible to people you don't know about. Just like when you're using cell phone, anybody with the right equipment (software) and knowledge to use it *can* hear most everything if they want to, regardless of what "privacy" laws there are on the books. That's why you never disclose credit card or valuable personal information in regular e-mail. All those e-commerce sites use some decent encryption to handle transactions securely. Anything as public as our list is not even as secure as a table in the middle of a crowded restaurant! You're just counting on the likelyhood that nobody *wants* to do anything to you. Nonetheless, though you should try to be up front and disclaim as you go, don't give up the fight! Be well, Mike D.
