Marsha, I think JD was talking about me here.

JD attacks the messenger if he doesn't like the message. But I know the
basic cause of the attack..the root feeling that drives the response. Fear
is a product of selfish ambition and it causes us do and say fearful things.
So, I won't return the attack, JD. I would only admonish you and others who
might believe that getting rich somehow purchases happiness to study and
pray for knowledge to understand what's really important in this life. My
daughter's leukemia was the catalyst that sparked my own search...and I've
arrived, just like millions of others with the knowledge Marsha expresses.
I've been in every multi-level there is trying to "make the big bucks."
I've moved up the corporate ladder...I've neglected my family....no,
ambition and money wasn't the answer.

Anyway, I have no problem with people making a "fair profit" if they sell a
useful product that has a market. Unfortunately, those who are ill will
sometimes pay anything to get better, and the unthical will take advantage
of that. Quacks, some lawyers, some pharmaceuticals, etc. are examples of
those who think about nothing except their own blind selfish ambition.
Personally, I couldn't charge $5-10 an ounce for something I know the
suffering person could make for 2 cents an ounce. If the person couldn't
afford a generator....heck...I'd make one for them. Since you have your own
generator, I see no need to provide you with CS or a generator...so please
don't put it in the closet. Use it often to help yourself and your
friends...and see how much happier you'll be as a result.

As Marsha states, what we do for others out of selfless desire to help
(devotion, love) is so much more important to the world and our own journey.
Really, the only thing I fear is losing my soul through selfish ambition.
This truth is common to all religious beliefs.
