Hi Minerva, Just a personal opinion. I started out using my own homemade CS (3 9V batteries, silver wires, etc) I noticed that I didn't seem to see consistant results. Being too brain fogged to figure out any of our "techie" posts, I started buying CS.
It seemed to me that I noticed less ebb and flow of my Lyme symptoms on it, and instead got steadily better. However, there are others on the list, who have cured themselves of Lyme using the 9V battery method. I think this, like everything else with Lyme, seems to depend on the person in question. Perhaps some have better immune systems already, or maybe the Lyme isn't as entrenched. Not sure. The CS I bought was WaterOZ. You can get 4 gallons for $124 bucks. I started out with 1/4 cup twice a day, and got a really really bad herx when I jumped to 1/2 cup twice a day, which scared me, and I ended up back on antiobiotics. So you can start out with a couple tablespoons a couple times a day, and build up. It's all pretty subjective to your own body. (Marsha says, "a goodly swallow several times a day", that seems to be a pretty good start!) Hope that helps Sparrow, Fellow Lymie. HI.
