My solution is always clear and i don't use salt! I use HVAC (15k volts) and
some previous batch as a seed.
Does anyone have experience using a drop of honey, as per the eminent sage of
our list, Brooks Bradley, with a HVAC generator?
thanx,
jd

In addition to Brita's good comments, I would just say that the
importance of *everything* is exaggerated in the marketing hype
you're going to find out there. There's a tendency on the part of
every advocate to slam everybody else's techniques as "real
dangerous" and their own as virtuous.
Yes, a serious problem for those trying to learn, I got sent down
the wrong path many times before I learned the truth.
Using sea salt, you will initially create a few ppm of silver salts,
*SOME* of which may be toxic, until the salt is fully used up. Pure
salt will mostly create silver chloride, which is a fairly benign
silver salt and not a serious issue *in the quantities involved.*
True, the risk is small but the results are also diminished greatly!
A compound versus an ion of silver is very large and can not pass
thru cell membranes (where viruses multiply) as easily, there is no
positive charge as a compound is neutral, and it is not a colloid but
a solution of a soluable salt of silver. Thus, you are making weak
medicine! At a production cost of less then $1/gallon for the very
best ionic colloid, why make junk! As Mike says, add part of your last
batch but never salt!
I just took a glass of 0.2PPM water and added a tiny pinch of salt
(a smaller amount then the size of a grain of rice) and the PPM went
up to 58! Now, you will be making 58 PPM of silver salts before you
can have one free ion of silver! The color will be clear because you
have a solution, rather then particles (ions) of silver.
Remember, colloidal silver IS NOT a solution of silver salts!
OR A solution of silver salts IS NOT a colloid of silver!
