I'm glad you are doing so well, Mike. If you need an effective change off for the prostate issue you might want to look at http://www.herbalist-alchemist.com/item/David-Winston39s-Men39s-Prostate-Tonic-962
I've recommended it with good success. About the zapper, how are you avoiding burns? I have one of Don Croft's zappers and while I love how I feel when I use it regularly I get burns from it. Have you considered frequency treatments for the joint and inflammation issues? Blessings, PT ________________________________ From: M.G. Hi folks, I know I've been largely absent from our discussions here, and I am eternally grateful to all of you for keeping the place running for me while I just "kept the lights on." As I've hinted a few times, I've been dealing with health issues which are not largely addressable by way of colloidal silver, and so I've been delving into many other modalities. What I've been dealing with is inflammation likely of systemic origin that has been largely untouched by numerous protocols and approaches I've tried so far. My decision not to share much of this with all of you was driven in parts by a reluctance to overwhelm the group with my personal issues, and by a desire not to post about a dispiriting string of failures that might provide fodder for skeptics and discourage others from trying some very good protocols. Just because my case is being stubborn shouldn't be held against alternatives. I'm still working on the main issues and gradually narrowing the search for a solution. Meanwhile, I *have* enjoyed some rather wonderful successes that I've realized I need to share. First, I'd like to thank Brooks Bradley for the arthritis protocol he's shared with us. Over the last year I've mounted a slightly souped-up version of it, and though it didn't do much for the other inflammation, my arthritic knee and shoulder have both responded wonderfully. Starting a little over a year ago I began taking the Bromelain, Boswellia, Turmeric, and Serrapeptase that Brooks recommends. In about 3 months my shoulder repaired itself and regained full range of motion with minimal or no pain. Once again I could reach to a high shelf or put on a shirt or coat without wincing. My knee was better than at the start, but still painful to kneel upon. I stopped the protocol for about 3 months, during which time the pain returned steadily and reverted to pretty much its original condition. Then, last April, I restarted the protocol, with the addition of Nattokinase. After some reading at the web site documenting the work of Walter Last: http://www.health-science-spirit.com/index.html ... I tweaked some things, particularly adding in the practice of waiting 45 minutes or more after taking the Bromelain and Boswellia before taking the Nattokinase and Serrapeptase, so they would not commit enzymatic fratricide. I also ramped up the Serrapeptase and Nattokinase to the higher doses he suggests. With the additional proteolytic enzymes the protocol seemed to operate much more slowly. It took a couple of months to notice any improvement in my shoulder, and progress was much slower. However, after a good 7 months, both shoulder and knee were all but perfect. About a couple of months in, I also added Beta-Sitosterol in hopes of improving the prostate symptoms that were keeping me from sleeping well. It took a week or so to kick in, but it was like somebody threw a switch! One night I slept lousy, waking every 2 or 3 hours, the next night sleeping straight through for over 9! And it seems to have held steady: almost every night I'm enjoying a minimum of 6 hours uninterrupted sleep. In mid-October I stopped nearly all of my protocols, as a test and to give my body a bit of a rest from supplements and myself from pill-taking. After more than 6 weeks the prostate situation has worsened a little, but the shoulder and knee are holding up better than they did the last time. No sign of symptoms yet. I've restarted the Beta-Sitosterol, and will re-add the rest in a week or so, after a minor surgical procedure is finished. It turns out most of these enzymes act as blood thinners or anti-coagulants, which the doctors like to stop a bit before cutting on you. <grin> So, this is great, but not as great as the other couple of things that have improved lately, almost certainly because of the Zapper I got from Don Croft a month ago. Details of that progress in my next e-mail... Be well! Mike D. (list owner, believe it or not!) -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver.
