Hi Nelwyn, I don't know about it as tea, I've only taken it in capsule form. I just learned of Pau' D Arco this past spring. The wife of our herbologist at the health food store I use told me about it. She said they used it in Europe as long as she could remember for general prevention. She told me that her and each of her family will go through a bottle apiece about 3 times a year to rebuild immune system. She said in Mexico and several other countries the Drs. will put a patient on it for 3-4 wks. prior to having chemo. and it prevents sickness and hair loss. Then a missionary that our church supports in Papua, New Guinea, was back here for a couple of months this summer. He said they take that and echinacea at the first sign of any cold related symptom and his whole family has been sickness-free for the past 3 years. I'm sure you could get more details with a web search or through your own local health food/herb specialist. >->->->->->-> CHANGE OF SUBJECT <-<-<-<-<-<-<-< On another note: in regards to the IP-6...The herbologist I seek advice from has been promoting IP-6 for cancer prevention/treatment for well over a year. He said he was concerned about how long our "friends at the FDA" would let us buy it. The problem as he states it is that the Feds have been looking long and hard at IP-6 because of its 'success' rate. He said he has seen other such items that were successful in cancer prevention/reversal in the past ( he's been studying herbology for a little over 30 years) that have been pulled from the market; made available by prescription only; and finally(and quietly,) disappeared. Hope this helps some.
