It's a fine, easy to follow diagram, but a beginner should avoid extrapolating from explicit directions. Pure silver only, please. Pre-1964 coinage is NOT pure, but an alloy with metals you do not want in your system. It's easy enough to get .999 silver. The DIRECTIONS state silver ingots, usually available from coin dealers, NOT silver coins. This setup is pretty much exactly what I used for my battery CS generator, with the exception of the silver shape (I used 14 guage wire). I know it makes good, useful CS, although I have no idea as to ppm.
