This study from India cites several studies showing reduction of silver
toxicity by capping with herbs. Its not clear to me why it selectively
protects human cells and not bacterial or fungal cells. They suggest
enhanced antimicrobial effectiveness through synergy.

Interestingly, vit C causes free radical generation in high doses by
way of hydrogen peroxide. The trick is get the cytotoxic effect to

Wormwood is a studied herb for treatment of covid-19. Somehow it
activates iron to cause free radicals which is at least part of the
antimicrobe effect, as shown in studies with malaria
See the dichotomy? Optimizing health ioften involves reducing free
radicals, increasing glutathione etc, yet this could reduce the
antimicrobial effect of herbs and CS
