I would find it easier to put the cat in the automatic clothes washer on the gentle cycle. After a slow tumbling and washing with no spin dry cycle, just step aside and open the door. If you prefer to dry them, have a cloth bag over the door opening to catch them in. Tie it shut and shake by holding the bag by the neck end of the bag away from the cat. Release the cat where it can get away till the thoughts revenge passes. Most animals have short time memories. Ha, ha!
