I took garlic (a BULB/15+cloves/day) for a week...wasn't too bad while sequestered with my father, but when I returned to the world (via airplane) it was another story. I couldn't smell it and I wondered why noone spoke with the usual chatty me and why the people next to me changed seats. LOL Upon returning home my sig other said: "WOW what is that smell?" as I got in the car with him. For the next day or so he only spoke to me when facing the opposite direction. I stopped the garlic. But CS is doing a pretty good job so far and it doesn't smell! Olive Leaf Extract is also helpful. Licorice is another matter: As it can cause hypertension anyone with an elevated blood pressure should stay away from it. It is sometimes a hidden ingredient in concoctions from homeopathy specialists. Love the list, Lee in CA, on the mend from Lyme thanks to CS homebrew. Prior to the debacle of Lyme I was a devotee of Western medicine and sneered at the nonscientific. Still prefer good studies to back up anything, but if noone does the studies the next best thing is powerful annecdotal evidence from people one respects. -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
