Because we use typed messages to communicate, we have very few ways to show
expression
in our messages as we can with our voices, face to face. So, we have
adopted and accepted
a few ways to include expression in our text, and one agreement is, using
all caps is an expression
called SHOUTING. (Didn't that seem louder?) This is a bulletin board thing,
done out of necessity.

There are other typed ways of adding expression to our text, like smiley
faces,. :^) and <grin>
to show we are laughing, joking or teasing, etc, etc. These little typed
extras are only ways
to enhance communication inside this limiting media called typing.

Have good days,
Tom.
