Kathy, I have the Silvergen & so does my Mom. We love it. It's so simple & I've never had a bad batch, except when I forgot to take the electrodes out of the CS when it was finished & left them in for 5 hours longer than I should. It was gold instead of light yellow. Trem is very good about answering questions (my husband had a dozen) and the instructions are simple & easy to understand. Kind of a no-fault system for fairly consistent quality. I haven't tested ppm, but whatever I'm making works just fine. The CS rescued me from mild food poisoning earlier this week, as a matter of fact! :o)
