Marshall and Silver Listers in General: Assuming that Marshall's interest in Professor Gibbs' recent work on colloidal silver is representative of the rest of the lurkers and the posters on this list, let me share with you an email I sent him after reading his booklet, Silver Colloids: Do They Work? BTW, so far no reply.
Subj: Enjoyed reading your recent colloidal silver booklet. I have two questions. Date: 6/29/00 10:37:41 AM EST From: ROGALTMAN To: [email protected] Dear Professor Gibbs: I just finished reading your booklet Silver Colloids: Do They Work? Congratulation on the first attempt that I'm aware of to evaluate colloidal silver products and establish standards of particle size and efficacy. I have two questions: 1) There are many individuals on [email protected] (their archives are a rich source of anecdotal information) and elsewhere who have reported quite good results with the "yellow tint" colloidal silver (as well as other lower grade varieties that appears to be just short of sludge) produced from low voltage DC. Is it possible that your particle size distribution and biological efficacy tests are too stringent? 2) On the other hand, I have noticed rather poor results with colloidal silver when it is used systemically. As a matter of fact, personal experience and that of others as well, has shown that CS does NOT compare well to antibiotics when used in this manner. So your rather stringent CS efficacy tests could easily be justified when seen from the viewpoint of relying on its SYSTEMIC efficacy as opposed to using it when it can be introduced DIRECTLY onto pathogenic sites.
