Hi list, Allison's Apothecary web page has an interesting article/opinion about the non-toxic character of Silver Chloride. See http://apothecary.hypermart.net/saline_question.htm I viewed it in January, so I don't know if it is still on the webpage. Basically, a poison control center said pure silver chloride is not harmful, but can act as a mild irritant. So the small amount formed in making CS is most likely harmless.
