Hi Ya'all; Be warned that HVAC made by the arc method has a high concentration of nitrates.
You can test for them using the Aquarium Pharmaceuticals, inc. test kit #LR 1800. As to what form the nitrates have, I do not know, but if it has silver associated with it then look out !!!
