I disagree. The photographic process is the plating out of pure silver onto other silver particles from a silver compound. The process above is the forming of an amalgam between silver and mercury, in which pure silver is the starting point, not the ending point. CS does not plate out on particles, only compounds of silver do that. If the above process does indeed cause aggregation of CS particles, then it is a completely different process.
