What is asthma? The constriction of the bronchials in order to restrict the breathing and thus raise the blood CO2 level, which is low because of over breathing.
It is therefore not credible to treat asthma as an inflammation. The breathing technique called Buteyko has had marvellous results in the real world, and also in university studies. This technique raises the CO2 blood level and thereby causes the dilation of the airways and the capillaries. See http://www.buteyko.com/ for further information.
