About the yellow color, I had several batches that produced a deep yellow on the glass jars. The CS was made with distilled water (purchased from the store). I have found that the brand of distilled water makes a difference as to the color of the CS or the color of yellow it sometimes turns. Didn't think distilled water had chlorine in it.
