My understanding of the research focuses on particle size.
Electro-colloidal silver in the .001 Micon to .015 Micron range freely
circulates in the systems and in the course of normal events is completely
flushed out of the body in 4 days or slightly less. This is why we take daily
maintainance doses -- to retain a level of presence.

This means that the body does not accumulate these small particles.;....
without an accumulative effect Argyria does not occur. On the other hand,
introduce large particles in the body that do not freely circulate (and
rapidly lose their electrical charge - are no longer ionized) and the bodys
metal scavaging system will deposit them out of the way---- near the surface
of the skin (Argyria). Bear in mind guys that this is, of course, an
oversimplification to explain this in simple terms that most people can
understand. You would require a couple of volumes to get the complete
scientific explanation. What it boils down to is that there is no necessity
for scaring the hell out of the less educated (ala FDA tactics) about Argyia.
Colloidal Silver IS SAFE! You are spinning your wheels trying to figure out
what volumes equate to Argyria. If the body retained all of the silver put
in it, then it would be a different story - but it doesn't. --- Robert Bartell

Bob: I would be most interested in the reference behind your "4 day" silver
retention figure. Using myself as a guinea pig, I got a much larger time
period. As far as scaring the hell out of people, that comes from ignorance,
something this list is dedicated to eradicate. However, without detailed
discussions of the type represented here, how in the world do you expect to
learn anything. Vendors are cretainly a questionable source. Don't you think?
