In early 1997, one of our staff, while
experimenting/searching for immediate discomfort relief from herpes
lesion pain, formulated a very simple protocol which gave very
pronounced success.
The topical treatment consisted of a simple
compounding of several, unrelated, substances. Starting with a 10 ppm
solution of CS, he diluted approximately one (1) ounce with one-tenth
ounce of undiluted DMSO; then, selecting approximately one (1) teaspoon
of Lysine topical ointment (obtainable from many pharmaceutical sources
without prescription)....enough CS/DMSO solution is used (about 1
teaspoon) to mix thoroughly with the Lysine ointment to make a thin
paste. Applied directly to Herpes lesions, immediate relief was
forthcoming and further insult expansion was suppressed. All-in-all, a
rather striking result was obtained-----for both Type I and Type II
lesions.
