Hi Just thought I would mention this (I may have before). My 5 year old son has had cold sores almost continually since 2 years old. Every time he ate acid foods (fruit etc) her would break out.
Since starting CS, after about 2 weeks they went away. The only time they looked like coming back, was when I had forgotten to give him his dose for the day. They went away again almost over night. CS obviously doesn't kill the virus, just keeps it at bay. And so far so good with Beks, my little one in hospital. No gastro bugs which usually plague her as they are around so much this time of year in hospitals. She gets her daily dose of CS infront of the nursing staff, just for educational purposes of course! One pharmacist looked really snotty at me when I suggested putting it on her skin that has a bad rash from the hip spika. She said I should check it out with the doctors first.
