Marshall: Norton sometimes has a problem integrating with email applications during it's installation ( especially non-pop 3 accounts ). Rest assured, if you have the auto-monitor enabled, and your virus definitions are up to date, WOULD you open the attachment, Norton antivirus would then go off, since it monitors memory.
