Dear List
OLE BOB said....." Don't waste your money on gear motors. "They run to
damn slow"!!!!!!!! I have tried them. The best and least expensive is
the Radio Shack $0.99 motor. Use the All electronic speed control and a
5 v dc walrat.
The idea behind stirring is to get enough velocity between the
electrodes to reduce or eliminate agglomeration."
 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>
Well If I make it to 79,or for that matter 69,I'll take grumpy for what
it's worth ; ) But enough about me......
"OLD" Bob ..What rpm do you find best and what is the
type[size, shape, etc. paddle ,or whatever, you use,[seems it was a bent
wire] and in what size and shape of container for making how many oz's
,using what size wire? How much space between the stirring mech. and
each wire,? and how much space between wire and wall ? Also...... What
have you found to be the best volume of water movement over the wires [
is a high speed blenders velocity better than less velocity? I have
more simple questions..... like constant voltage for LVCS. Does the
secondary have to be DC? ... Does the voltage drop because the amps
increase due to the increased conductivity of the sol.? and on and
on....... thanks
