I have a friend who has a 9 year old boy who has been diagnosed with Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD). This is a very rare (supposedly hereditary) disorder that causes the body to lack the enzymes necessary to break down long chain fatty acids.
If any of you have any information that would help or any suggestions about where information about this condition exists. I would appreciate your response.
