I have heard that also. However, I have melted over 30 tons of lead in a 100 lb. pot and poured diver's weights(1997). I have processed with a torch over 40 tons lead underground cable(1998). I could "smell" the lead both times, although I used hoods and fans. I have probably burned 500 tons of copper cable in my life. I was surprised that my metals load was that low. BTW, anyone read Rare Earths- Forbidden Cures by Joel Wallach? I tend to agree with him. Bluesman
