I have always wondered about the "truth" of the "blood-brain barrier" because of the obvious effects of, for example, alcohol, heroin, marijuana, cocaine, morphine. Oh, I could go on . . .

According to the people who treated my husband for brain cancer (and yes, all treatment failed) the blood brain barrier kept many things including medicine from the brain and I imagine it would keep colloidial silver from it. Intravenous c/s could be tried of course. I hate for my first post to this list to be a downer, but brain cancer is very hard to treat because surgically you have to be sure not to create a vegetable of your patient and radiation doesn't always help. The blood brain barrier keeps most chemo from reaching the brain. I'm very sorry about your sister in law or indeed anyone with brain cancer. My husband died at 58. He was very healthy and full of life except for the cancer and probably would have lived to 85 without it. Margaret Park -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
