Dear Group, Just a question that is puzzling my husband - someone who has visited the WTC would know... were the steel girders etc exposed and NOT covered by concrete? From the ruins it appears so.
The reason for asking is that building regulations in Australia stipulate that structural steel must be encased in concrete to keep it cool in case of fire.
