There's a Dr Jarvis that wrote a couple of books on Vermont Folk Medicine. He
touted the properties of vinegar and honey among other simple remedies.
His remedy for dandruff was to rub a tablespoon of corn oil into the scalp and
hair before showering. Shampoo it out with any shampoo desired.
It was the only thing that ever worked consistently for me. No more special
shampoos that would have to be rotated periodically, just some kind of vegetable
oil (anything worked).
CS mixed with oil should be super! Use it BEFORE washing the hair though!
