In the earlier period of widespread use of electro-silver colloids it was most often IV. It stings IM, and you cannot get the blood levels up as high. It is currently impossible to get as high a blood concentration orally; hence the current Gatorade tests, that will probably show about a 4x increase in absorption rates (per Brooks' group's previous dog studies).
