No arguement there.
The FDA is structured to and habitually does listen to big drugs for their policy and mindset.
But, with several new silver containing products popping up all over the world, they might get around to it.
Who gets the contract is the big question. I would like to see it studied in Japan.
An irrefutable report by a major research concern might at least sway the FDA into being quiet even if it's not their report.
Just pulling back and not meddling would be the best of all worlds.

Way back when, the Mayor of NY commissioned a study to see if marijuanna was actually the problem that the yellow journalists said it was. The result was a resounding "No".
...but got buried under the media outcry.
A study in Jamaica revealed that moderate pot smokers lived an average of 8 years longer that those who didn't smoke anything.
Buried again.

At least, as a substance, colloidal silver is legal and should remain so due to it's common and simple grassroots nature.

I'll agree with the FDAs insufficient evidence statement, but, it is
sufficient to be at least taken seriously as an indication that
"something" is going on and should be studied more vigerously.

Ken: And why doesn't the government take it upon itself to study something like CS since it can't be patented, and, therefore, would be "uninteresting" to the pharms? There are now taxpayer funds to do this type of research. The fact that it's NOT being done speaks volumes about the influence of big pharm on government policy in general, and enforcement policy (read, FDA/FTC) in particular. Roger
