These microscopes look pretty good and are well priced. For blood work, up to 100X oil immersion would be excellent, for bacterial work 400X and 1000X are preferred. I suggest you look at obtaining a darkfield microscope or a microscope with a darkfield option. This would allow live blood work and superior representation.
