Dear Ken, In the U.S. and Europe there is superb infrastructure (good roads, working phones, etc.) educated people, and vibrant markets. But in less developed countries all of these things are lacking. Stand back and try to imagine a completely different economy. None of the resources you're talking about are generally available. The key is sustainability. What can be accomplished with minimal rescources and infrastructure? It is necessary to crawl before walking. Reid
