I know of no one using less than 10,000 volts. Most use 12 kv and some 15 kv, but I have some real reservations about 15 kv. To do HVAC one MUST use a neon sign transformer as they are built to handle this type of load without burning up. If you wisj to try it before you start get ALL of the good and bad points about it.
