Hello again Roger, I scrubb when I remember that the cs is 'cooking'. The process seems to grind to a halt until I do so. My first batch sat for over 20 hours until I realized that I should scrub the electrodes. I am going to try to follow John Stanley's suggestion and bubble the cs as it is being made.

It has been turning out a pale to medium yellow at about 12-15 ppm according to my Hanna tester. I poured some in my wife's drinking water - plastic bottle just opened (Costco brand), and it turned pink, measuring about 20 ppm ??? I poured it out, yellow okay, pink, no. Probably your batch didn't reach the shutoff point was because the electrodes needed to be scrubbed. Mine does the same thing unless I do one scrub during the process. John>> Thanks John, I will try the scrubbing during the process this coming weekend. At what time into the process do you scrub, John?
