For anyone that has been making CS long enough to get interested, but not long enough to get board, I would recommend that you put a resistor in series with one of the electrodes and measure the voltage across it. Start with 1 ma. - i.e., 27 volts = 27K resistor. It will give you a good idea of how clean your sanitation is (water, container, electrodes, etc.) Bonus! You can adjust the resistor value to control the time it takes to make stuff. This will work with batteries, power supplies, so called "CS generators" DC or AC.
