To make a long story short I used CS in my holding tank on my boat, the other chemicals do not seem to last. I used 20 ounces in the spring and added a few ounces several times during season. Normally I have tank pumped out several times as it gets full, lack of use this year it did not get full. I pulled my boat Nov 1 and had a pump out the day before. I expected it to be really rank, but to my surprise no smell at all. It must have killed all the bacteria.
