For all those observing the holiday, I wish you a merry and blessed
Christmas. May the season bring Peace to at least your own small
corner of the world.

The tree is trimmed, the stockings hung, and gayly wrapped presents
sit beneath the tree. The last of the shopping is done, finally. A
traditional celebration in a middle class American home.

Rose and the kids are ringing with the bell choir at church. They'll
play at four services before Christmas is over. I'll be at home
watching over the turkey some of that time.

We'll be visiting with family and friends, laughing and sometimes
eating too much. Some of them are comfortable and secure, while others
are struggling in the slow economy. Thankfully, none are homeless or
starving.

Yes, we have it good.

Obligatory colloidal silver content: The freshly cut tree came right
from the top of the car to the tree stand filled with 50/50 CS and
water. It's been drinking well for several days. We'll see how long it
is before decay finally sets in and the pores close. If all goes well,
it may stay fresh for as long as we want to keep it up.

CS makes a good preservative for Christmas trees and cut flowers,
though it's only practical if you can make it cheaply for yourself.

Be well, my friends.
