Just received word today of Ray, an old chef friend now undergoing heart
surgery
in Saudi Arabia.  The cruiseliner he's cooking for had left Hong Kong on
its way to pick up passengers in Arabia, when he came down with
"flu-like" symptoms that set off heart arythmia.  Awaiting further word;
hope it's not the mystery bug.
