Regarding the acne treatment discussion: I would just note that in nearly 14 years of residence in Japan, I have not seen any case of acne, and I teach in a university, where you might expect to see young foks with skin problems if there are any. Unless Asian Americans are similarly devoid of acne, I would surmise that the Standard American Diet (SAD) is a major culprit, and start with dietary changes, as others have recommended.
