I am not aware of any email client, IE Outlook express, Netscape communicator, Eudora and so forth, that does not automatically take care of this when simply replying to a message.
I had read the message that someone was having problems with this not being done properly, so I was saying that the email client was not being as smart as it should have been. But that appears at this time to have been an erroneous assumption.
