Migraines happen for different reasons in different people. Finding an
appropriate remedy is often trial & error, both on the part of the doc &
the patient. In my case, I discovered that mine are triggered by chronic
soft-tissue tension (ie:stress) in my shoulders, causing hunching &
tendon stiffness.

My Mom's occur as a result of hormonal imbalances due to menopause, my
friend's are a result of eating "trigger foods".

I found a very good osteopath, who will do much more aggressive
adjustments than a typical chiropractor, allowing the tendons to stretch
& increasing blood flow. I've also learned how to do my own back & neck
stretches when I feel a headache coming on. I can pretty much make it
disappear within 10 minutes after stretching & relaxing backwards over
an exercise ball. (Very large, soft ball).

Everyone is different...keep searching until you find what works. I'm so
glad to find that mine had such a simple answer & that I now have
control over them.

Good luck!
Heather
