I stopped my subscription to Consumer Reports almost 15 years ago, after one of their "unbiased reports" convinced me they are anything but what they claim. I still use the magazine for basic info when shopping for a particular item, and like their auto repair statistics, but that's all. The quoted blurb about CS shows just exactly how skimpily they do some of their "research". It is well to remember that everybody sees the world from where they stand, with all their preconceptions and prejudices--this qoute shows some of the prejudices of CR magazine. They have done a great disservice to their audience. paula ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]>
